Croudace Homes is appealing against Wokingham Borough Council’s decision to refuse a planning application for 81 homes on land west of Trowes Lane. The public inquiry (reference APP/X0360/W/24/3340006) starts on Wednesday 26 June 2024.

Reflecting on the changes
The small number of minor changes include:
- Reflecting the agreed position of the Local Area of Play (LAP) in the central greenspace.
- Showing updated Ordnance Survey material on Trowes Lane which is outside the Red Line Boundary.
- Showing the position of the pedestrian path to Charlton Lane more clearly.
- Showing minor additional planting proposed within the Appeal site on the Trowes Lane boundary and at the Charlton Lane access.

Why are you consulting?
Changes, albeit small ones, have been made to the plans that were refused by Wokingham Borough Council. Before the Planning Inspector determines the Appeal, the public are invited to comment on the minor changes to the drawings.
Why is only limited information provided about the original planning application?
All comments previously made on the planning application have already been made available to the Inspector. This consultation only relates to changes made to the drawings since the planning application was refused.
